Regardless of whether the rumour has any foundation or not, I can't see that any incoming owners from Qatar would have motives any different to those of G&S, which is to be successful and make money. The difference of course being that they would have a great deal more money, and it would therefore be a lot more likely to happen.
I'm astonished that the way the stadium move has been handled hasn't removed any false notion that G&S were somehow custodians of a 'West Ham' way of doing things or somesuch false legacy. They couldn't give a fuck, they want a sanitised, sellable product.
Leaving that all aside I live in the frozen north and there isn't a City fan I've met would would genuinely go back on what's happened to them. There's plenty who feel disengaged etc. and have a bit of a moan but they fucking loved winning the league and the general success they've had. They were wetting themselves last week over doing Barcelona.

Business. They sorted us out when we needed it and if they sold for a massive profit to someone who's going to take us to the next level I'd thank them gratefully.
